International Pop

Lady Gaga, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (born March 28 1986), is an American songwriter, singer, actress, philanthropist, dancer and fashion designer. One curious side-effect of both ‘International Pop' and ‘The World Goes Pop' was the way in which the institutions absented themselves from the conversation - that is, absented themselves from the idea that museums have been and are a part of popular culture.
Examples of projects former minor students worked on: making a video clip, doing research on subjects regarding music or design, offering workshops, band coaching, creating a concept for a festival, writing songs, organizing an event, produce an album, organizing a release party, publicity for a theatre festival, designing a magazine etcetera.

The children attend special schools where they take specialized singing and dancing lessons ; they learn how to moderate their public behavior and International Pop prepare for life as a pop star; they spend hours in daily rehearsals and perform in weekend music shows as well as special group performances.

The '90s will perhaps always be best remembered for the explosion of boy bands and girl groups that introduced teen icons like Take That and The Spice Girls, plus the bubblegum pop of Kylie Minogue, Steps and Aqua, as well as the return of guitar-based music thanks to bands like Oasis and Blur.
Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg , Roy Lichtenstein , and Claes Oldenburg , and on the other side of the Atlantic Richard Hamilton and Peter Blake , along with David Hockney , who divided his time between London and Los Angeles, is what the Pop Art map drawn in the 1960s still looks like today.

During this time of high flying success and excess, The Experience broke up. Other notable musicians joined Jimi and as his schedule excelled and his popularity peaked, so did his use of drugs and alcohol, sometimes affecting his work on stage and in the studio.
